When you use Chances Are Realty to manage your property, we provide free commercial and residential lease agreements that legally bind a person looking to rent space (tenant) and a person who owns it (landlord).  We also screen all potential tenants through the use of the rental application process. This will help verify each person’s credit and background in order to avoid any future eviction.

Maryland Landlord-Tenant Laws:
– The Landlord may only collect up to two (2) months’ rent for a Security Deposit.
– The Landlord must return the Security Deposit to the Tenant within forty five (45) days from the date of lease termination.
– The Landlord does not have to provide any notice to enter the property at anytime for non-emergency access but it is always recommended out of courtesy to let the Tenant know beforehand.
